Nice atmosphere in the hotel's breakfast room,
Brahms' music on the background,
croisants,
good start for the day!

The mission is to see the Eiffel Tower
.

Walked through Louvre
to the left bank
.

Quick visit to Au Bon Marché
.

Au Bon Marché
- beautiful department-store design by Eiffel
. Église du Dome des Invalides
- built in the late 1600
- Napoleon's tomb

Tour Eiffel
-built between 1887-1889 for the Exposition Universelle
World's Fair
by Gustave Eiffel
- meant to built down after the exposition
- the tallest building on earth since 1931
. 319m , 1665 steps

Tried to have lunch at Alain Ducasse's Jules Verne restaurant,
but no luck without a reservation.
At the reception the man told
that it's worth to try because not always everyone shows up
.
Crossed the river via Pont d'Iena,
found a small bistro for lunch

Had the daily menu including white wine
.

Delicious vegetable soup
.
Grilled cod with brown rice and creamy sauce
- very good!
Skipped the dessert!
